Lavanga&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On a recent flight back to Philadelphia from Houston, I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely woman named Sarah. In speaking with Sarah, I learned that she travels often in her role as mortgage loan auditor and that she loves, loves to work with numbers. We discussed her assignment in Philadelphia and I gave her a few restaurant suggestions. I explained to her what I do as a corporate change agent, my deep interest in the dynamics of human behavior, and as I tend to do, turned the conversation to her story. You know the drill, “Sarah, what is your story?” She was born in Louisiana, no her family there was not affected by Katrina, although she had lived in Houston for over twenty years.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Her two grown daughters had blessed her with four grandchildren. She bravely left Louisiana with her young girls because her first husband had been abusive and she was determined not to end up like her mother. Her second husband, Leon, was unlike anyone she had ever met. He loved her children and insisted she go to school to pursue a career, so she could become self sufficient. Her eyes then welled up with tears as she told me that he had tragically died three years ago and she still missed him terribly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By now we had drawn the attention of people around us on the flight and as happens quite often when I fly, I asked Sarah if she would be interested in a method I use in my work that helps people realize that nothing is missing. In effect, I told Sarah that I may be able to show her how Leon was still with her, just in another form. She was quite interested, but smiling skeptically. She agreed saying I was a master at building rapport and she recognized that due to the fact that building rapport with clients is an essential part of her work. So we began and I asked her to describe the traits she missed most about Leon. She cited his kindness, his desire to take care her, his love of travel, as he was a merchant marine, and his guidance of her career. Then I asked her who took over those roles immediately after Lean passed.&lt;br /&gt;She thought for just a moment, a light went off in her eyes as she said her sister had become extremely kind to her since his passing and that was not their history together.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tears welled up in her eyes as she recounted how her grandson, who was four at the time, came to her at the funeral and said, “Don’t cry grandma, I’ll take care of you.” I asked her when she had begun traveling for work and she shook her head and said, “Right after Leon passed, I told the company that I was willing to travel now.” She well up again when I asked her who was guiding her career now, as she responded that Leon was still there in her head telling her what to do. She praised what she saw as my almost psychic insight, but I explained to her the principles that I employed, and gave her an example that I use in the business world so she could accept this tool and integrate it into her already extremely knowledgeable and aware database.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Principle 1 Conservation: Nothing is missing, just transformed. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Principle 2 Reflection: What you see in others is in you.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Principle 3 Equilibration: Whatever trait you perceive was lost or taken away is right in front of you in another person or persons to the same degree.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Principle 4 The Great Discovery™: You will never have a gain without a loss, a praise with out a reprimand, or be put down without being supported to the same degree simultaneously.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These same principles apply to economics, the housing and stock market, ecology, and even the revolution of the planets. Every cause sets into motion an equal and opposite effect not separated in time, but perfectly synchronic and simultaneous. The challenge for us lies simply in digging deeply enough to see it. "Surfing the internet will suck up all of your interview time. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Set up some in-person get-togethers with your networking contacts," says Allison Hemming, author of Work It! "You have to stay out there."&lt;br /&gt;Make more contacts by joining associations in your industry. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Don't be shy about reaching out to family and friends who know how great you are—and who may know someone in your field who can hire you.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Get Balance&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Important as your job search is, don't get so consumed by it that you put the rest of your life on hold. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Center yourself by starting the day with something you enjoy that is not job-related—listen to your favorite music, read poetry, say a prayer.&lt;br /&gt;Exercise. It releases endorphins that alleviate anxiety and boost energy. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Pursue a hobby or finish up projects you've been putting off, so you gain a sense of accomplishment regardless of how your job search is going.&lt;br /&gt;"I think one of the greatest therapies is to volunteer," says Todd Bermont, author of 10 Insider Secrets to a Winning Job Search. Lavanga&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     An important part of business and life is managing and solving problems.  How about if in this article I solve half of your problems for you?  Sound too good to be true?  Wondering how much it is going to cost?  Well, I would love to charge for this bit of wisdom, but, if you read on you will get the skinny on the biggest obstacle that you face, YOU!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;      The entire human condition both the beauty and the beast in man can be traced at its core to human emotions.  About half of the issues you will face are your own emotional creation.  Wait you say, I am a consummate professional, mature, savvy about business, and measured in my approach to situations.  That may be so, but in this article you will learn that even the most proficient professionals can avoid falling into a pit and step up to the next level with this information.  &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;     It is obvious that the failure to manage emotions in your professional or personal life increases the probability of failure.  However, when it comes to emotions, knowing the way is not going the way!  In fact, it is usually my clients with the highest level of intelligence that are most resistant to applying this wisdom.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     So, what is it Dr. Dan, what is the secret to getting out of our own way?  Drum roll please!!!  The secret is called equilibrium, equilibration, or synchronicity.  Biblically it has been expressed as the will of God being equilibrium, every mountain is leveled, and every valley is filled.  So how does this principle work, what the heck does all this mean?  To read on from here you must know that your entire world is about to be turned upside down and inside out!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     Well first let’s assume you have it all together, you know your purpose, you’ve created a detailed mission statement to embody your vision, and you have a strategy in place to accomplish your goals.  Next, what compels you to action, what takes you off on a tangent or pushes you into overwhelm?  furthermore, why do want what you say you want?  Whoa Doc, lots of questions here, I thought you were giving out the answers!  Be patient grasshopper.  The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, or as they say in the car biz, the first payment.  &lt;br /&gt;     Throughout our lives we have judged people and events as good or bad, positive or negative according to OUR value system, right?  The more a thing affects us emotionally, upsets us, excites us, or pushes a button, the bigger the subconscious impression.  These emotional charges become imprinted into our minds as memories and imaginations, sometimes floating around and filling our heads with what is called brain noise.  In addition, future decisions we make regarding similar people or events will be affected, sometimes jaded by these past events.    &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     Have you ever experienced a terrible person or event and as time went on you discovered that something just the opposite, something truly terrific has taken place because of that person or event?  It is no accident!  In fact, through science we now have discovered that every person or event is FULL QUANTUM, meaning that both poles, positive and negative are present eternally, instantaneously in every person or event. There is no time lag except in our perception.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     This means that every time you judge or have judged a person or event as good or bad, you were only half right.  Both sides are present, yet, we act as if one is not.  We allow it to make a deep impression on us, upset us, or excite us, fill our mind with brain noise, even dream states, and change forever the way we make decisions.  It’s the lies we tell ourselves!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     Imagine if you dare the implications!  Imagine the missed opportunities due to preconceived notions and past remembrances.  Imagine the loneliness of lost love and pain of lost finances due to lopsided or half thinking.  Imagine how we pass these illusions on to the people we love the most!  Some of you have quit already, some are saying bull crap and some are still brave enough to read on!     &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     Imagine if you saw instantly, that the people and events that challenge you the most and tic you off are the very ones that give you the greatest lessons and move you the furthest forward.  Would you try to avoid them in the future?  Would you fear “negative” events or people?  Would you appreciate their existence in your life and literally thank God for bringing them there?  Trust me, that would be a liberating revelation!  Would you monitor your emotional excitement or infatuation for a person, business opportunity, or event if you instantly saw the potential downsides?  Could any of these save you time, energy, and money?  Could they save your relationship with your spouse, children, employees, or business associates?  Could wars be prevented by clear full quantum thinking?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     Finally, genius has been called the instantaneous recognition that a crisis is a blessing and vice versa.  Seeing FULL QUANTUM or equilibrium keeps rash lopsided judgments, brain noise, and overwhelm to a minimum.  This in turn liberates at least half of the issues that cloud the individual mind and shade judgment.  In some cases I have seen 90% of a person’s issues gone in minutes of completing the exercise to dissolve lopsided emotional judgments.
